Christopher Clayton "Chris" Brown
Christopher Clayton “Chris” Brown, 36, of Moorefield died Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg.
Born May 23, 1986, in Albuquerque, NM, he was the son of James Donald Brown and Candace Svette Nocar.
Chris was a general contractor working in the flooring business for years. He loved music and his guitar was his passion.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step-father, John Nocar of Moorefield; his step-mother, Summer Brown of Martinsburg; two daughters, Charolette “Charlie” Brown of Moorefield and Rose Hopkins of Wardensville; one son, Christopher Brown of Moorefield; two sisters, Amber Marlow and husband, Joseph and Amanda McReynolds and husband, David, both of Moorefield; two brothers, Justin Brown and Travis Brown, both of Moorefield; a step-brother, Nick Nocar of Moorefield; and nine nieces and nephews.
According to his wishes, Chris will be cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. at the Old Fields Baptist Church with Pastor Dan Howard officiating.
