Esther Mary Parker
Esther Mary Parker, 89, of Moorefield, died Monday, October 25, 2021, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.
Born March 27, 1932, in Durgon, WV, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Beatrice (Sindy) Bierkamp. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Parker; two brothers and one sister.
Esther worked many years as a janitor for West Virginia DHHR and was a member of the Moorefield Church of Christ. Most importantly, she was a housewife and loved taking care of her family.
She is survived by three sons, Jimmy Parker and wife, Valerie, Cambridge, MD; Donnie Parker and wife, Yvonne, Fairmont, WV; Steve Parker and wife, Debbie, Old Fields, WV; one brother, Blaine Bierkamp, Moorefield; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
According to her wishes, there will be no services held, and a private interment will take place at the Newhouse Cemetery, Rig, WV.
Her arrangements are under the direction of Elmore Funeral Home.
