Ethel Mae Mongold
Ethel Mae (Whetzel) Mongold, age 82, of Moorefield, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Hospice of the Panhandle, Kearneysville, WV.
Born May 5, 1940, in Peru, WV, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Virgie (Hinkle) Whetzel. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Mongold.
Ethel worked as a line worker at American Woodmark and was a member of the Mt. Carmel Church of the Brethren in Milam, WV.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah M. Kearns and husband, Kevin, of Gaithersburg, MD and one grandson, Kyle Kearns of Gaithersburg.
Friends and family will be received at Elmore Funeral Home on Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. time of service with Pastor Bill Kearns officiating. Burial will follow in Olivet Cemetery.
