Ethel Virginia Funk

Ethel Virginia Funk, age 88, of Fisher, WV, passed away on
Monday, June, 19, 2017, surrounded by her family, at the Grant Memorial
Hospital Extended Care Unit in Petersburg, WV. Born on July 12, 1928 in
Kessel, WV, she was the daughter of the late
Homer Weatherholtz and Martha Pratt Weatherholtz.

Mrs. Funk retired from American Woodmark Corporation.

       In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving
husband in 1985, Junior Thomas Funk; one son, Ronald Funk; two
brothers; one grandson; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.

       She is survived by three daughters, Judy Hinz (Gunther) of Old
Fields, WV, Terry Bierkamp (Scott) of Moorefield, WV, and Edith Hedrick
(Rodney) of Upper Tract, WV; two sons, Larry Weatherholtz (Charleen) of
Webster Springs, WV and Michael Funk ( Anna) of Maysville, WV; four
sisters, Mae Saville of Baker, WV, Jean Kuykendall of Petersburg, WV,
Suzella Bean of Moorefield, WV, and Bonnie Srout of Hickory, NC; one
brother, Phillip Weatherholtz of Moorefield, WV; 19 grandchildren; 36
great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren.

       Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 21,
2017 at Elmore Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV. A funeral service will be
conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the funeral home with
Pastor Danny Sterns officiating. Burial will follow at Lahmansville
Cemetery, Grant County, WV.
