Helen Joyce (Thomas) (Reynolds) Mullin, 84, of Moorefield, WV, died Monday, September 7, 2020, at the Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center, Petersburg, WV.

Born October 8, 1935, in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Elvin P. and Hazel (Southerly) (Thomas) Stump. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Harold W. “Pete” Reynolds; her second husband, Ernest Mullin; and four sisters.

Helen was a nursing assistant at Grant Memorial Hospital for 28 years. She was a member of the Pine Grove United Methodist Church and the Moorefield Chapter 102 Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by one step-son, Bill Mullin, Florida; one step-daughter, Diane Myers, Old Fields, WV; eight brothers, Phillip Thomas, Norfolk, VA; Elvin Thomas, Jr.; Bobby Thomas; John Thomas, all of Suffolk, VA; Robert Stump; Carl Stump; Wendell Stump; Ronald Stump, all of Moorefield; six sisters, Phyllis Brock; Frances Thomas, both of Suffolk; Linda Sites and husband, Clyde who was a special brother-in-law to Helen; Shelva Stump; Betty Stump; and Nancy Stump, all of Moorefield; numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, and step-great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Elmore Funeral Home, Moorefield on Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 11am until 1pm. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 pm with Pastor Johnny Stump and Pastor Irene Mongold officiating. Interment will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Pine Grove United Methodist Church or Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center.
